Short Run, Answers to "Where Am I This Time?" Quiz, and Kickstarter Launched

Hello again!

Today was Short Run, the Seattle-based Comix and Arts Festival.

It was my third time tabling and a huge success. The place was packed all day. A highlight was running into former Gage Academy students who were now operating their own tables. Even more interesting was running into a former student who was in my fourth grade class at Lawton Elementary, twenty years ago.

One of my sale items was a small book of Seattle-area location sketches.

A litmus test for Seattleite status: If you can correctly identify a majority of the locations, you can call yourself a Seattleite. For those who may eventually acquire the book, spoiler alert! Here are the locations in the order they appear in the book:

Kickstarter #4 Launch

Hey Hey Hey!

I'm excited and proud to have launched my fourth Kickstarter campaign. I'm super proud of the new book, ABOUT A YEAR! I learned a lot publishing EVERYDAY SKETCHING and DRAWING, which is already in its fourth printing, and I put everything I have into this new book. With all new drawings, it's my best work so far.

Watch the 58-second video here and then check out the rewards and other goodies I'm offering in the campaign: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/stevenreddy/about-a-year-the-sketchbooks-of-steven-reddy

There's be an early-bird special price for those who jump in right away, and I'm selling the original paintings of the front and back covers, too.

I'm not doing a lot of promoting, instead relying on readers of my previous books to help spread the word.

Thanks for signing up fo the latest news, and thanks for your support!

Steven
