How Can I Serve You?

Hello my friends,

Palisade Restaurant Seattle

My year of oil painting has come to an end (I'm in the process of varnishing them all) and I'm back to daily Urban Sketching.

Fremont Troll

My sketches are mostly dashboard drawings lately (done from the front seat of my car) while Willa naps in the back. The scenes are largely predicated on wherever I can find a comfortable place to park.

So listen: what can I do for you? I receive a lot of requests to travel and teach, but with Willa, my constant companion, I'm not going anywhere soon. I'm going to begin holding small, informal drawing sessions in my home starting this fall. If you live near Seattle, or plan a visit, let me know which day you'd prefer for a monthly or even weekly get-together. Also, keep an eye on MIVAL.org (Mercer Island Visual Arts League) for some upcoming Urban Sketcher's Workshops and classes.

I'm spending as much time walking dogs for my friends as I am on drawing lately. I love being outside with my furry friends, as you'll know if you read Walks With Willa. Here's a drawing I did at Willa's buddy's house while they recovered from a long walk.

I have a rare window of availability for commissions, if you need a gift idea.

I get requests to sell prints on my ETSY site. If you see something you like on my home page, let me know.

Alrighty then.
