Hello Friends, I'm home in Seattle after eight days of non-stop sketching in Vancouver BC, and already planning my return. |
Vancouver Urban Sketchers planned a meet-up on Granville Island, so I walked over and did an anticipatory sketch. Two days later, over 35 sketchers took over the place and I drew again from the same seat, just turned slightly to the right. |

It's a fun challenge to draw during a Sunday mass: sitting, standing, kneeling, standing again, etc., all the while drawing. Too bad more buildings don't invest in the visual eye-candy of even the simplest church.
To my Canadian friends, thanks for your hospitality and patience during these ridiculous times. I envy your sanity!
